關於歷史館
台灣護理學會成立於1914 年，從昔日草創奠基至今已逾一世紀；歷經許多護理先進的篳路藍縷，以啟山林，才有今日豐碩的成果。本會會史是現代護理在臺灣形塑過程的縮影，與臺灣護理發展的脈絡息息相關。為讓各界瞭解本會的發展歷程，遂於2020 年8 月設立「台灣護理學會歷史館」，以多媒體、文物、期刊、照片佈展；並依據時間軸呈現本會在各時期的發展與樣貌，使珍貴的護理史料文物得以保存展示，並為歷史留下見證。
Founded in 1914, Taiwan Nurses Association (TWNA) has been continuously evolving for over a century since its inception. The history of TWNA is in fact a microcosm of modern nursing in Taiwan. To increase visibility and form a repository of nursing treasures, TWNA History Museum was established in August 2020. By enjoying the multimedia exhibition and physical objects display, publications, and photographs with the timeline, visitors will have an overview of all evolving phases of TWNA. The precious historic data and materials are preserved and showcased as testimony to the important milestone and historical moments of nursing development in Taiwan.

台灣護理學會(TWNA)於 1914 年成立，是我國歷史最悠久、規模最大的護理專業學術團體。
Founded in 1914, the Taiwan Nurses Association (TWNA) is the longest-running and largest academic nursing organization in Taiwan.
加入ICN
1922
台灣護理學會於1922年加入國際護理協會 (International Council of Nurses, ICN)，是唯一代表台灣加入 ICN 的護理專業團體，為 ICN 重要會員國之一，深耕國際護理事務並與世界接軌。
TWNA, the sole nursing organization representing Taiwan, joined the International Council of Nurses (ICN) in 1922. As one of ICN's key members, TWNA is committed to advancing global nursing and fostering connections within the international nursing community.

TWNA aims to advance professional nursing services, promote nursing-related academic research, raise standards of nursing education, improve the health of all citizens, and enhance the association’s international status, while remaining dedicated to serving its members nationwide, with a steadily growing membership.

The nursing-related artifacts and historical records that are collected, displayed, and preserved in the museum, all of which hold significant historical value.
1914-1941：向中華護士學會註冊之合格護士學校
1933：出版教科書-護士學校標準課程 Standard Curriculum for Schools of Nursing published
1951：蔣宋美齡女士主持義賣募款 Madame Chiang hosted a charity sale
1952：辦理WHO護理教育會議 WHO Semina on Nursing Education in Taipei
1953：「護士季刊」在台復刊 The Journal of Nursing resumes publication in Taiwan
1956：駐華護理專家Fays女士歡送會合影Farewell party for Ms. M. Fays (top row, center)
1958-1964：會員註冊名錄 List of Association members
1960s：護士節慶祝大會傳光 Candlelight Ceremony on Nurses Day
1961：ICN入會證明 Certification for reinstated the membership of ICN
1961：重新加入ICN Rejoined the International Council of Nurses

1962：WHO 專家蒞臨護士節大會 WHO expert attended Nurses Day Celebration
1962：外賓蒞臨護士節慶祝大會 VIPs attend Nurses Day Celebrations.

1984：中美護理聯誼會 ROC-US Nursing Exchange Activity
1985：出席以色列台拉維芙 18th ICN 大會 Attended the 18th ICN Quadrennial Congress in Tel Aviv, Israel
1995：主辦第1屆ICN-ICNP會議 The Advisory Meeting on the Int’l Classification for Nursing Practice
1999：日本護理協會關懷921 The JNA offers support after the 921 Earthquake
